1. Cleaning:
   • Wash Gently: Use a mild detergent when cleaning the flag to protect its colours and fabric. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, place the flag in a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent damage.
   • Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, as high heat can shrink or harm the material.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Make sure the flag is completely dry before storing it to avoid mould or mildew. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Haiti Flag:
   • Prepare the Flag: Begin by placing the flag face down on a clean, flat surface, ensuring it is free from any dirt or debris.
   • First Fold: Fold the flag in half lengthwise, aligning the top edge with the bottom edge to ensure both sides match perfectly.
   • Second Fold: Fold it in half once more lengthwise, bringing the newly created top edge down to meet the bottom edge, resulting in a long, narrow strip.
   • Make Accordion Folds: Starting from the side with the loops (the hoist side), create small accordion-style folds, each approximately 15cm wide, moving towards the fly end (the opposite side of the hoist).
