1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to clean the flag, avoiding bleach and harsh chemicals that may cause fading.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water, and place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to prevent snags.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat can shrink or damage the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storage. Store it in a cool, dry area to prevent moisture-related damage.
3. Folding the Jamaica Flag:
   • Lay the Flag Flat: Start by placing the flag face down on a clean, flat surface, ensuring it's smooth and free of wrinkles.
   • Fold Lengthwise: Bring the two long edges of the flag together to form a lengthwise fold, aligning the yellow diagonal lines in the centre.
   • Create a Narrow Fold: Fold the flag in half again lengthwise, so it becomes a narrower rectangle.
