Corporate Event Signage for Exchange APAC 2026 in Southbank
Explore signage solutions for events, activations and festivals:
A one-day corporate conference leaves no margin for a second attempt. Every sign, graphic and branded touchpoint needs to be produced correctly, installed in position and ready before the first attendee arrives.
Exchange APAC 2026 was held on Thursday 27 August at CIEL The Venue in Southbank, Melbourne. The one-day program brought together customers, partners and supply chain leaders for keynote presentations, customer sessions, panel discussions, solution showcases and networking.
Evan Evans printed and installed a coordinated suite of corporate event signage across the venue's exterior, arrival areas and interior spaces. The project was managed by Dan Butler, bringing the production and on-site installation requirements together through one point of coordination.
One event identity across every attendee touchpoint
The signage program extended from the street-facing windows to registration, hospitality and presentation areas. Rather than relying on one dominant display, the event identity was repeated across a practical mix of temporary graphics and rigid signs.
- Removable self-adhesive graphics across windows and entrance doors
- Corflute signs for registration, information and supporting event areas
- Removable decals for counters, tables and internal display points
- Indoor Tough Media floor graphics for high-visibility messaging
Turning the Southbank venue into a clear event destination
The largest visual change took place across the building frontage. Removable window and door graphics carried the Exchange identity across multiple glass panels, making the venue recognisable from the street while retaining the architectural context of the site.
For short-duration conferences and activations, this type of custom window decal application can transform an existing venue without requiring permanent signage. The graphics can be planned panel by panel to work around doors, frames, access points and sightlines.
Print and installation managed as one coordinated program
A multi-surface event installation involves more than sending individual items to print. Finished graphics must correspond with their intended locations, and the installation sequence needs to account for venue access, glass panels, counters, floor areas and equipment already in place.
With Dan Butler managing the project, Evan Evans handled both print production and installation. This connected approach was particularly important for a one-day event: all exterior and interior elements needed to come together before the program began, with no opportunity to spread the work across several event days.
Temporary materials selected for real event applications
Each format served a different purpose. Custom corflute signs provided practical freestanding communication around registration and hospitality areas. Removable decals adapted existing counters and tables, while the window graphics created the strongest exterior transformation.
Inside the venue, a large custom floor graphic placed the event message directly into the attendee path. It added another branded surface without competing with presentation screens, furniture or wall displays.
What event organisers can take from this project
The Exchange APAC installation demonstrates why corporate event signage works best as a connected system. The appropriate mix depends on the venue, but several planning principles remain consistent:
- Start with the attendee journey—from street arrival to registration and the main event space
- Match each message to a surface and material that suits its location and duration
- Plan printing and installation together when multiple venue zones are involved
- Confirm access, measurements and artwork early enough to protect the installation schedule

Corporate event signage FAQs
What signage works well for a one-day corporate conference?
A practical conference signage mix can include entrance graphics, registration signs, directional signs, branded counters and floor graphics. The best combination depends on the venue layout, attendee journey, installation access and the surfaces available.
Can removable window graphics be used for a short event?
Yes. Removable window graphics can be specified for temporary events and campaigns. The glass type, panel measurements, artwork layout and installation conditions should be assessed before production. Explore custom window decals or contact the Evan Evans team for advice.
Are corflute signs suitable for indoor registration areas?
Corflute is a lightweight and versatile option for registration, information and supporting event signs. Size, thickness, finishing and display method should be selected for the intended position. View the custom corflute signage options available.
Can Evan Evans manage both printing and installation?
Yes. Evan Evans can coordinate print production and installation where required, subject to the project scope, venue access and location. Providing site information and required installation times early helps the team plan an appropriate approach.
How early should corporate event signage be organised?
Timing depends on the quantity, materials, artwork approval, site measurements and installation requirements. Contacting the team early provides more time to confirm the signage schedule and resolve venue-specific details before production.
Does Evan Evans support agencies and repeat event buyers?
Yes. Agencies, event organisers, venues and businesses purchasing signage regularly can explore the Evan Evans Trade Program and discuss ongoing project requirements with the team.
