Bringing the Magic to Singleton: Custom Christmas Street Flags by Evan Evans
When Singleton Council set out to transform their town centre for the festive season, they wanted something more than decoration—they wanted to create a magical experience for locals and visitors alike. Their Christmas campaign message, “YOU’LL BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC,” deserved to shine proudly across the main street.
Evan Evans was thrilled to partner with the council to bring this vision to life through custom-designed, Australian-made street flags installed along Singleton’s central retail strip.
✨ A Festive Streetscape With Impact
The project called for seven large-format street flags, each sized at 1500 x 4450 mm, designed to stand out on the town’s uniquely angled, curved street poles. These striking flags now line the heart of Singleton, creating an uplifting holiday atmosphere for the community.
Printed on 135gsm Trilobal polyester, the flags deliver the ideal balance of durability, print vibrancy, and movement—perfect for the hot, breezy Australian summer.
The campaign artwork, provided by Singleton Council, features:

The result is a festive installation that is eye-catching from street level, across the road, and even from passing vehicles.
🛠 Tailored for Angled FlagTrax Poles
Singleton’s street poles use an angled, non-standard FlagTrax-style system. This meant the flags required a completely custom template to ensure a perfect fit and faultless display.
To maximise the visible branding area on the unique pole shape, our production team:

Ensured the printed artwork flowed beautifully when installed
Because true double-sided flags would void the pole warranty and become too heavy to fly, Evan Evans recommended a single-sided print with a mirror image on the reverse, ensuring vivid visibility while protecting the council’s infrastructure.
