1. Cleaning:

   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to clean the flag and help preserve its colours. Avoid using bleach or strong chemicals that may damage the fabric.
   • Machine Wash: If using a washing machine, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag inside a mesh laundry bag to reduce the risk of tears or snags.
   • Air Drying: After washing, lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Do not tumble dry, as excessive heat can shrink or weaken the material.

2. Storage:

   • Proper Storage: Allow the flag to dry completely before storing it. Keep it in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight or damp environments.

3. Folding the NAIDOC Flag:

   • Lay the flag flat on a clean surface.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise, bringing the top edge down to meet the bottom edge.
