To keep your flag looking its best and maintain its vibrant colours, follow these care instructions:

1. Cleaning:

   • Gentle Washing: Always wash flags with a mild detergent to minimise fading. Avoid bleach or any harsh chemicals that could damage the colours.
   • Machine Wash: If you must machine wash, choose a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to prevent snagging.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat may shrink or damage the fabric.

2. Storage:

   • Proper Storage: The flag should be fully dry before storing it. Keep the flag in a cool, dry, and safe location to avoid moisture damage.

3. Folding the Mother's Day Flag:

   • Gently fold the flag in half lengthwise.
   • Fold it again lengthwise to create a narrower strip.
   • Continue folding in even sections until it is a manageable size for storage.

4. Handling:

   • Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep the flag away from sharp objects or rough surfaces that may cause snags or tears.
   • Secure Installation: Ensure the flag is securely fastened when displayed, preventing any unnecessary strain on the fabric.
   • Minimise Exposure: Bring the flag down during extreme weather or overnight to preserve its condition.

5. Repairs:

   • Minor Repairs: For any small tears or fraying, replace the flag and take the damaged one to a professional seamstress for repair.
   • Replacement: When the flag shows significant wear, consider purchasing a new one to maintain its appearance during important occasions.

Flying the Mother's Day Flag:

• Choose a prominent location for clear visibility and festive impact.
• Securely attach the flag to prevent it from falling or tearing.
• Display the flag during Mother's Day celebrations to add a vibrant and celebratory touch.

By following these guidelines, your flag will retain its vibrant colours and remain in top condition for many years. Taking care of your flag is not just about preservation but also about celebrating the spirit of Mother's Day.
