A Community Worth Celebrating
Parkes Shire Council has proudly claimed the prestigious 2024 Overall Tidy Towns Award at the Keep Australia Beautiful NSW (KAB NSW) Tidy Towns Awards, announced on 2 November 2024 in Bathurst. This program, running since 1981, honours communities for projects that reduce litter, minimise waste, encourage recycling, protect biodiversity, and celebrate heritage and culture.

FlagTrax Banners to Mark the Win
To commemorate their achievement, Parkes Shire partnered with Evan Evans to produce a suite of FlagTrax street banners that proudly announce the victory across town.

Printed in under a week on 135gsm Trilobal fabric at our facility in Coburg North, Victoria, the banners feature crisp imagery and vibrant colour resolution that celebrates Parkes’ Tidy Towns recognition.

Sustainability at the Core
Parkes Shire’s award-winning sustainability efforts align with Evan Evans’ own commitment to eco-friendly practices. All of our flags are printed directly onto fabric and heat-treated on the roll, meaning no washing is required. This process saves water and eliminates the use of harsh chemicals that could harm waterways.
