1. Cleaning:

   • Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Do not tumble dry, as high heat may shrink or damage the material.
2. Storage:
   • Dry Before Storing: Ensure the flag is thoroughly dry to prevent mould or mildew. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Iraq Flag:
   • Prepare a Flat Surface: Begin by laying the flag on a clean, flat area with the design facing upwards.
   • First Lengthwise Fold: Gently fold the flag in half lengthwise, ensuring the edges are aligned and the design remains visible on the outside.
   • Second Lengthwise Fold: Take the folded flag and fold it in half lengthwise again, creating a narrower shape to help maintain its integrity.
   • Create Triangular Folds: Starting at the fly end (the side opposite the hoist), form a triangular fold by bringing the lower corner up to meet the top edge of the flag, creating a triangle shape.
