1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Wash: Use a mild detergent for cleaning the flag to protect its colours and fabric integrity. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that could cause fading.
   • Machine Washing: If you need to machine wash, place the flag in a mesh laundry bag and set the machine to a gentle cycle with cold water to avoid damage.
   • Drying: Air dry the flag by laying it flat or hanging it up. Do not tumble dry, as high heat can shrink or damage the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Safe Storage: Ensure the flag is fully dry before storing it to prevent mould and mildew growth. Store it in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Jordan Flag:
   • Begin by laying the flag flat on a clean, smooth surface with the front side facing upwards.
   • Fold the flag in half lengthwise, aligning the edges precisely, and press down firmly to create a crease.
   • Fold it in half again, bringing the top edge down to meet the bottom edge while maintaining the alignment and crease.
   • To create a triangular shape, take the bottom corner of the folded edge and bring it up to meet the top edge, forming a triangle.
   • Continue folding the triangle over itself to create additional triangles until you reach the end of the flag, ensuring the emblem remains visible and neatly folded.
   • Finally, tuck any loose edges into the folds to achieve a tidy and compact presentation, making it easy to store or display.
4. Handling:

  • Once the flag is at the peak, secure it properly to prevent movement in the wind.
• Displaying the Flag:
  • Position the flag with the black stripe on top, followed by the white and green stripes, ensuring the emblem is clearly visible.
  • If displayed with other flags, the Jordan flag should be on the left side of the observer or, if on a single pole, it should be the highest flag.
