1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Clean the flag using a mild detergent to preserve its colours and fabric quality. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that could cause fading.
   • Machine Wash Option: If you must machine wash, place the flag in a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent damage.
   • Dry Naturally: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat may shrink or damage the material.
2. Storage:
   • Store Correctly: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it to prevent mould or mildew. Keep in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Liberia Flag:
   • Prepare the Flag: Lay the flag flat on a clean surface, held at each end to keep it taut. Position the flag with the blue field and white star in the top left corner.
   • First Lengthwise Fold: Fold the flag lengthwise by bringing the lower edge up to meet the top edge. Smooth out any wrinkles and align the edges carefully.
   • Second Lengthwise Fold: Fold it in half lengthwise once more, ensuring the blue field remains visible on the outside and that the edges are even.
   • Begin Triangular Folds: Starting from the striped end, fold the bottom right corner upwards to form a small triangle. Continue making triangular folds by alternating each corner towards the opposite edge, moving toward the blue field.
   • Complete the Triangle Folds: Repeat this triangular folding pattern, keeping each fold tight and aligned, until only the blue section with the star is left.

  • Raise the flag at sunrise, ensuring it is completely unfurled with the day’s first light.
