   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, place the flag inside a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent any damage.
   • Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to air dry. Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat could shrink or harm the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it to avoid mould or mildew. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
3. Folding the Slovakia Flag:
   • Begin by placing the flag flat on a clean, smooth surface with the emblem facing upwards.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise, bringing the top edge down to meet the bottom edge, ensuring the sides are aligned neatly.
   • Fold it once more lengthwise, this time bringing the left edge over to the right, keeping the flag’s colours tucked inside.
   • Proceed with folding the flag in a concertina style, making small, even folds to keep it compact and secure.
   • After folding, ensure the emblem is protected by keeping it tucked inside, facing inward, to avoid damage during storage.
4. Handling:
   • Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep the flag away from sharp objects or rough surfaces to prevent snags, tears, or damage.
   • Secure Installation: Ensure the flag is securely fastened to the pole or mount, allowing it to move freely and avoid damage.

  • If hanging the flag horizontally, the emblem must be on the left side when viewed from the front.
