1. Cleaning
   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to clean the flag while preserving the fabric and colours. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
   • Machine Washing: If machine washing is required, place the flag in a mesh laundry bag and use a delicate cold-water cycle.
   • Drying: Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat may damage the material.
2. Storage

3. Folding the Taiwan Flag

Flying the Taiwan Flag

• Raising the Flag

  • Header with Loops: Secure the loops to the halyard clips before hoisting.
  • Vertical Sleeve: Insert the flagpole through the sleeve and ensure a snug fit.
  • Raise the flag smoothly and respectfully to the top of the pole.
• Displaying the Flag
  • Display the flag in a prominent and respectful position.
  • When displayed vertically, the blue canton with the white sun should appear in the upper left from the viewer's perspective.
  • Indoor displays should position the flag upright or mounted correctly with the canton at the top left.
