Product Care Guidelines

To help maintain the quality and colour of your Knitted Polyester Holy See Flag, follow these care guidelines:

1. Cleaning
   • Gentle washing: Use mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh cleaning products.
   • Machine washing: If needed, wash on a delicate cycle with cold water. Use a mesh laundry bag to help prevent snagging.
   • Air drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Do not tumble dry.
2. Storage
   • Make sure the flag is completely dry before storing it.
   • Keep it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and mould.
3. Folding the Holy See Flag
   • Place the flag on a clean, flat surface with the yellow field on the left and the white field with the Vatican coat of arms on the right.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise so the yellow and white halves align neatly.

Flying the Holy See Flag

• Raising the flag: Use the correct attachment method for your finish. Header with Loops flags should be securely fastened to the halyard clips, while Vertical Sleeve flags should be carefully placed over a compatible pole.
• Displaying the flag: Make sure the yellow and white fields are correctly positioned and the Vatican coat of arms is clearly visible.
• Flag etiquette: Avoid letting the flag touch the ground, water or objects beneath it.
• Weather conditions: Do not fly the flag during heavy rain, storms or strong winds. Store it safely indoors until conditions improve.
