1. Cleaning:

   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to avoid snagging.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to air dry. Refrain from tumble drying, as high heat can shrink or damage the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, dry, and secure location to prevent moisture damage.
3. Folding the Ireland Flag:
   • Preparation: Start by laying the flag on a flat, clean surface, ensuring it is free from any dirt or debris.
   • Align the Colours: Orient the flag so that the green, white, and orange sections are in the correct order (green on the hoist side).
   • First Fold: Fold the flag lengthwise, bringing the green side over to meet the orange side, ensuring the edges are aligned evenly.
   • Second Fold: Fold the flag in half again lengthwise, this time enclosing the white section between the green and orange, creating a long, narrow rectangle.
   • Final Fold: Starting from one end of the narrow rectangle, roll the flag tightly toward the opposite end, ensuring that the colours remain aligned and the fabric is smooth to prevent creases.
