North Macedonia Flag Care Guidelines

Follow these care guidelines to help maintain the flag’s appearance, colours and fabric condition.

1. Cleaning
   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to help maintain the colours. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals that may damage the fabric.
   • Machine Washing: If machine washing is necessary, use a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag inside a mesh laundry bag to reduce the risk of snagging or tearing.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as high temperatures may damage or shrink the fabric.
2. Storage
   • Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it.
   • Keep it in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
3. Folding the North Macedonia Flag
   • Lay the flag flat on a clean, even surface with the front side facing down.
   • Fold it in half lengthwise, aligning the top and bottom edges.
   • Fold it in half lengthwise again to form a narrower rectangle.
   • Starting from the bottom edge, create a series of overlapping triangular folds.
   • Continue until the flag forms a compact triangle, then tuck the final point securely beneath the last fold.

Flying the North Macedonia Flag

• Raising the Flag
