Materials and Construction
135gsm Trilobal Fabric
This flag is produced from lightweight 135gsm knitted polyester Trilobal fabric. Its printed construction provides a practical option for everyday indoor and outdoor flag displays.
Choosing Your Finish
The Header with Loops finish provides secure attachment using reinforced loops and sister clips. The Vertical Sleeve creates a neat presentation by sliding directly over a compatible flagpole.

product-care
xFor long-lasting performance and vibrant colours, follow these care instructions for your Tajikistan Flag:
-
Cleaning
- Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to help preserve the fabric and colours. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Machine Washing: If machine washing is required, use a gentle cycle with cold water and place the flag in a mesh laundry bag.
- Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat may damage the fabric.
-
Storage
- Store Dry: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry location to help prevent mildew and moisture damage.
-
Folding the Tajikistan Flag
- Lay the Flag Flat: Place the flag on a clean, flat surface with the emblem facing upward and smooth out any wrinkles.
- Fold Lengthwise: Fold the flag in half lengthwise, aligning the coloured stripes evenly while keeping the emblem visible.
- Fold Again: Fold lengthwise once more, maintaining the emblem's position.
- Create a Compact Rectangle: Continue folding into neat sections until the flag forms a compact rectangle.
- Store Properly: Keep the folded flag in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, acid-free paper is recommended.
-
Handling
- Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep the flag away from rough surfaces and sharp edges that may cause tears or snags.
- Secure Installation: Ensure the flag is correctly attached to minimise unnecessary strain.
- Minimise Exposure: For longer service life, lower the flag during severe weather or overnight.
-
Repairs
- Minor Repairs: Repair small tears or loose stitching promptly to prevent further damage.
- Replacement: Replace the flag once it becomes significantly worn or faded to maintain a respectful display.
Flying the Tajikistan Flag
-
Raising the Flag
- Header with Loops: Secure the reinforced loops to the halyard clips before raising the flag.
- Vertical Sleeve: Slide the pole through the sleeve before securing the flag in position.
- Raise the flag smoothly and confidently.
- Avoid allowing the flag to touch the ground during installation.
-
Displaying the Flag
- Display the Tajikistan flag prominently and respectfully.
- The red stripe should be at the top, followed by white and green, with the emblem correctly oriented.
- When displayed with other national flags, use flags of equal size and position them respectfully.
- Indoor displays should be mounted correctly on a staff or wall.
-
Flying at Half-Mast
- Raise the flag fully before lowering it to the half-mast position.
- Secure the flag properly.
- Before lowering for the day, raise it to full mast first.
- Observe half-mast protocols only when officially appropriate.
-
Sunrise & Sunset Etiquette
- Raise the flag at sunrise and lower it at sunset unless properly illuminated for night display.
- If displayed after dark, ensure adequate lighting.
- Lower the flag carefully to prevent it touching the ground.
-
Weather Conditions
- Avoid flying the flag during severe weather where possible.
- If the flag becomes wet, allow it to dry completely before storage.
- Weather-resistant materials are recommended for extended outdoor display.
-
Retiring the Flag
- Retire the flag respectfully when it becomes heavily worn or damaged.
- Dispose of the flag in a dignified manner in accordance with local customs or organisational guidelines.
With proper care, your Tajikistan flag will continue to deliver a vibrant and respectful display for years to come.
