Folding the Zimbabwe Flag
- Lay the flag flat on a clean, dry surface, ensuring it is fully extended with no wrinkles.
- Fold the flag lengthwise from bottom to top so the green stripes meet. Keep the white triangle with the national emblem visible on the left.
- Fold it lengthwise again, keeping the white triangle on top and aligning the edges neatly.
- Starting from the fly end opposite the triangle, fold the flag in thirds or quarters depending on its size, working towards the hoist side.
- Finish with the triangle visible, with the Zimbabwe Bird and red star facing upwards for easy identification when stored.

Flying the Zimbabwe Flag

Raising the Flag
- For a Header with Loops finish, attach the flag securely to the halyard clips or hooks on the pole. For a Vertical Sleeve finish, slide the pole through the sleeve pocket and ensure the flag is held upright and taut.
- Before raising, confirm the flag is correctly oriented, with the green stripe at the top and bottom and the Zimbabwe Bird facing forward.
- Hoist the Zimbabwe flag briskly to the top of the flagpole with care and respect.
- When displayed with other flags, position the Zimbabwe flag prominently, ideally at the highest position or farthest left from the observer's perspective.

Displaying the Flag
- When hung horizontally, the white triangle with the red star and Zimbabwe Bird should be on the hoist side and face forward.
- When displayed indoors, position the flag to the speaker's right on a stage or podium.
