   • Machine Washing: If machine washing is necessary, place the flag in a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle cycle with cold water to minimise potential damage.
   • Drying: Air dry the flag by laying it flat or hanging it up. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat can shrink or harm the material.
2. Storage:
   • Correct Storage: Make sure the flag is completely dry before storing it to prevent mould or mildew growth. Store it in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Germany Flag:
   • Begin with a Flat Surface: Lay the flag face down on a clean, flat area, ensuring the black stripe is positioned at the top.
   • Initial Fold: Bring the bottom edge of the flag upwards to align with the top edge, forming a neat rectangle.
   • Second Fold: Fold the rectangle in half again, keeping the black stripe on the outer side.
   • Third Fold: Take the right side of the flag and fold it over to meet the left side, creating a smaller rectangle.
