Expert Craftsmanship
Each fully sewn flag is carefully assembled by skilled craftspeople with attention to detail in every stitch. The result is a premium-quality flag with an impressive presentation and long-lasting durability.
Durable Woven Polyester
Manufactured from durable woven polyester, this flag features individually sewn panels rather than printed graphics. This traditional construction delivers a premium appearance and a distinguished finish suitable for formal display.
Hemmed Edges
All edges are professionally hemmed to help minimise fraying and maintain a clean, polished appearance throughout the life of the flag.
These premium materials and construction methods combine to create a fully sewn flag designed for long-term display while maintaining its professional appearance.

product-care
xTo keep your Peru Flag looking its best and maintain its vibrant colours, please follow these care guidelines:
-
Cleaning
- Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to help preserve colour and fabric quality. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
- Machine Wash: If machine washing, use a gentle cold-water cycle and place the flag inside a mesh laundry bag for added protection.
- Air Dry: Lay the flag flat or hang it to dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat may cause shrinkage or unnecessary wear.
-
Storage
- Store Correctly: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, dry location away from moisture and direct sunlight.
-
Folding the Peru Flag
- Lay the flag flat on a clean surface with the front side facing upward.
- Fold the flag lengthwise, aligning the red stripes evenly.
- Smooth out any creases before folding again lengthwise.
- Starting from the fly end (the side furthest from the pole), fold the flag into equal sections toward the hoist end.
- Keep folds neat and even to help protect the fabric during storage.
- Store the folded flag in a clean, dry container or cloth bag until its next use.
-
Handling
- Avoid Sharp Surfaces: Keep the flag away from rough edges and sharp objects that may cause snags or tears.
- Secure Installation: Ensure the flag is properly attached before display to minimise strain on the fabric.
- Protect During Severe Weather: Bring the flag indoors during storms or prolonged adverse weather conditions.
-
Repairs
- Minor Repairs: Address small tears or loose stitching promptly to help extend the life of the flag.
- Replacement: Replace the flag when it becomes significantly faded or worn to maintain a professional display.
Flying the Peru Flag
-
Raising the Flag
- For Header with Loops finishes, attach the supplied sister clips securely to the halyard. For Vertical Sleeve finishes, slide the pole carefully through the sleeve and ensure the flag hangs freely.
- Raise the flag smoothly and securely to the top of the pole.
- Check ropes, clips, and fittings before hoisting to ensure safe display.
- When displayed with multiple flags, position the Peru flag according to local flag display protocols.
-
Displaying the Flag
- Display the flag with the red bands positioned on either side of the white centre panel.
- If the flag includes the national coat of arms, ensure it faces outward and is clearly visible.
-
Flying at Half-Mast
- Raise the flag to the top of the pole before lowering it to the half-mast position.
- Before lowering the flag completely, briefly return it to the top of the pole.
-
Day and Night Display
- Display the flag during daylight hours whenever possible.
- If flown at night, ensure appropriate illumination is provided.
-
Weather Conditions
- Remove the flag during strong winds, storms, or severe weather conditions.
- Allow the flag to dry completely before storing if it becomes wet.
-
Retiring the Flag
- When the flag becomes excessively worn or faded, retire it respectfully and replace it with a new flag.
- Consult local community organisations if guidance is required for proper disposal.
Following these care and display guidelines will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your Peru Flag for years to come.
