2. Storage:

3. Folding the Republic of the Congo Flag:
   • Lay the flag on a clean, flat surface with the front side facing down.
   • Gently smooth out any creases so the material sits flat and the colours stay clear and tidy.
   • Fold the flag in half lengthwise by bringing the top edge down to meet the bottom edge, keeping everything aligned.
   • Fold it lengthwise again to create a long, narrow strip with the green section still visible at one end.
   • Starting from the end opposite the green triangle, bring one corner across to create the first triangle.
   • Continue folding the strip into a line of tight triangles until you reach the end with the green field.

  • Attach the header with loops by clipping the sister clips through the loops to hold the flag firmly to the halyard. For the vertical sleeve option, guide the pole through the sleeve pocket until the flag is positioned evenly. Secure it at the base to keep it standing straight and steady
  • Before lifting, check that the flag is fastened properly and that the rope or halyard is free of knots to help prevent twisting.
  • Hoist the Republic of the Congo flag briskly to the top of the flagpole as a mark of respect.
  • Raise the flag smoothly, keeping it clear of the ground at all times.
• Displaying the Flag:
  • Place the flag in a prominent spot where it can move freely and be seen clearly.
  • The yellow diagonal stripe should extend from the bottom corner near the flagpole up to the top corner on the outer edge, with the green section positioned at the upper corner by the pole and the red section sitting in the lower outer corner.

  • Slowly lower it to a point halfway down.
