To Maintain the Longevity and Appearance of Your Sudan Flag

1. Cleaning
   • Gentle Washing: Clean with mild detergent and lukewarm water to help preserve the fabric and colours. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
   • Machine Washing: If machine washing is necessary, place the flag in a mesh laundry bag and use a gentle cold-water cycle.
   • Drying: Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat may weaken the fabric or cause shrinkage.
2. Storage
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before folding and storing it in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Sudan Flag
   • Place the flag on a clean, flat surface with the red stripe at the top and the green triangle on the hoist side.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise so the white stripe covers the black stripe while keeping the green triangle visible.
