1. Cleaning:

   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to clean the flag, avoiding bleach or strong chemicals that may cause fading.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Placing the flag in a mesh laundry bag can help prevent damage.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to dry naturally. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat may shrink or weaken the fabric.

2. Storage:

   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture damage or mildew.
3. Folding the Sudan Flag:
   • Lay the flag flat on a clean, dry surface with the red stripe at the top and the green triangle on the hoist side.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise so that the white stripe is layered over the black stripe, ensuring the green triangle remains visible.
   • Fold it lengthwise again, bringing the red stripe over the white, keeping the edges aligned neatly.
   • Begin folding into a rectangle by bringing one end of the flag towards the other, maintaining a straight and smooth fold.
   • Continue folding until the flag is compact and easy to store, ensuring the green triangle remains visible when placed in storage.
