1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent to clean your flag. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach as they may cause fading.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is needed, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to protect it from damage.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry as the heat may shrink or weaken the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Dry the flag fully before storing it. Keep it in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture damage.
3. Folding the Ukraine Flag:
   • Begin by laying the flag flat with the blue section positioned on top, aligned with the yellow section.
   • Fold the flag in half lengthwise, bringing the blue section over the yellow, aligning both sides evenly.
   • Fold it again lengthwise, maintaining the proportions, with the blue section still on top.
   • Continue folding the flag into smaller sections, making sure each fold is tidy and even to preserve the flag's shape.
   • For storage, fold the flag into a neat rectangular shape, smoothing out the folds to avoid creating sharp creases that could damage the fabric.

• Raising the Flag
  • Make sure the flag is mounted on a secure and sturdy flagpole to allow it to fly freely and visibly.
  • Using the Header with Loops: Secure the flag to the flagpole by attaching the reinforced loops with clips or ropes, staying it in place.
  • Using the Vertical Sleeve: Slide the flag's side pocket (vertical sleeve) onto the flagpole, positioning the blue section at the top correctly.
  • Carefully raise the flag, extending it fully and freeing it from wrinkles.
• Displaying the Flag
  • When flown, the flag should be high enough to be clearly visible and displayed with respect.
  • Never let the flag touch the ground, as it represents national pride and dignity.
  • If displaying alongside other flags, position the Ukraine flag at the same height or on its own pole, giving it equal prominence.
  • When displayed horizontally, the blue section should always be at the top, and when flown vertically, the blue section should be on the left.
