1. Cleaning
   • Gentle Washing: Wash using a mild detergent to help maintain colour and fabric quality. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing, use cold water on a gentle cycle. A mesh laundry bag can provide additional protection.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to dry naturally. Avoid using a dryer, as excessive heat may affect the fabric.
2. Storage
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, clean, dry location away from moisture and direct heat.
3. Folding the Zambia Flag
   • Lay the flag flat on a clean surface with the design visible.
   • Fold lengthwise, bringing the top edge to meet the bottom edge.
   • Smooth out creases during each fold.
   • Fold lengthwise again to create a long, narrow strip.
   • From the fly end, fold into neat rectangles toward the hoist end.

Flying the Zambia Flag

• Raising the Flag
  • For Header with Loops finishes, attach the flag securely using sister clips or suitable fittings.
  • For Vertical Sleeve finishes, slide the sleeve over the display pole until fully positioned.
  • Raise the flag smoothly and securely for the best presentation.
  • When displayed with other flags, position the Zambia flag respectfully and in accordance with local flag display practices.
• Displaying the Flag
  • Ensure the design is correctly oriented and fully visible.
  • When displayed vertically, maintain the correct orientation of the flag artwork.
  • Avoid allowing the flag to touch the ground, water, or surrounding surfaces.
• Flying at Half-Mast
