India Flag Care Guidelines

Flying the India Flag

• Header with Loops: Attach the reinforced loops securely to the hooks or clips on the flagpole, then check that the flag hangs freely without twisting.
• Vertical Sleeve: Slide the pole through the sleeve so the flag fits securely without being too tight.
• Display Position: Display the flag in a clear, visible position and avoid letting it touch the ground.
• Orientation: When hanging the flag, keep the saffron band at the top, with the white and green bands below and the Ashoka Chakra facing forward.
