1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Always use a mild detergent to clean the flag and prevent colour fading. Avoid harsh chemicals, including bleach, which can damage the fabric and colours.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water and place the flag inside a mesh laundry bag to prevent any damage or snagging.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to air dry. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as the heat can cause the fabric to shrink or deteriorate.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from moisture to prevent damage.
3. Folding the Netherlands Flag:
   • Lay the flag flat on a clean, smooth surface with the red stripe facing up. Ensure there are no wrinkles or creases before starting the fold.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise so that the red and white stripes align, keeping the blue section on the outside.
