1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Always wash the flag with a mild detergent to prevent fading. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that could damage the colours.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to avoid snagging.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat may shrink or damage the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it. Keep the flag in a cool, dry, and secure location to avoid moisture damage.
3. Folding the Rwanda Flag:
   • Start by laying the flag flat on a clean surface with the front (design) facing up.
   • Fold the flag in half lengthwise, aligning the top and bottom edges to ensure the design remains visible.
   • Fold it in half again, this time aligning the left and right edges.
   • Continue folding the flag into thirds or smaller sections, keeping the edges aligned neatly to avoid wrinkles.
   • As you fold, make sure the fabric is smooth and free of creases for a compact and tidy finish.
   • Finally, fold the flag into a small rectangle, with the emblem and colours neatly tucked inside, ensuring it remains easy to store and display.
4. Handling:
   • Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep the flag away from sharp objects or rough surfaces that could cause snags or tears.
   • Secure Installation: Ensure the flag is securely fastened when displayed to prevent unnecessary strain on the fabric.
