   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, opt for a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to prevent it from snagging or getting damaged.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as the high heat may shrink or weaken the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Make sure the flag is completely dry before storing it. Keep it in a cool, dry, and safe place to prevent moisture damage.
3. Folding the Slovenia Flag:
   • Lay the flag flat on a clean, smooth surface, ensuring it is free of wrinkles or dirt.
   • Fold the flag lengthwise in half, bringing the hoist side (the side with the flagpole attachment) over to the fly side, aligning the edges neatly.
   • Fold the flag in half again lengthwise, making sure the colours and design remain visible and intact.
   • Begin folding the flag into a triangle shape by folding the bottom corner of the flag diagonally upwards towards the top edge.
   • Continue folding the flag in triangular sections, each fold neatly overlapping the previous one, until the entire flag is folded into a compact triangle.
   • Tuck the remaining fabric into the last fold to secure the flag in place, ensuring it is tightly folded without any loose edges.
4. Handling:

  • Raise the flag briskly, making sure the Slovenian coat of arms is positioned at the top left and is facing the correct direction.
  • The flag should be flown in a position of prominence, such as at the top of a flagpole or in a location where it can be easily seen.
