- Folding the Vietnam Flag
- Hold the flag horizontally, with the red field facing up and the gold star positioned upright.

Flying the Vietnam Flag
- Raising the Flag
- For flags with a Header with Loops, attach the sister clips to the reinforced loops and secure them to the halyard before hoisting.
- For flags with a Vertical Sleeve, slide the sleeve over the pole so the flag is securely positioned and properly aligned for display.
- The national flag should be raised briskly to the top of the flagpole in a respectful and deliberate manner.
- Hoist the flag so the gold star is upright and centred against the red background.
- Avoid allowing the flag to touch the ground or surrounding objects during the process.
- Displaying the Flag
